The Flex design maximizes the space of the entire site and can respond to the changing and evolving needs of its occupants. It is intended for both suburban and rural lots and puts emphasis on fluid indoor–outdoor living with a large deck in the front and a walkout patio in the back. It can be planned as a single detached dwelling, a Duplex or a town/row-house development. Designed to optimize Solar orientation, this modern passive dwelling features a single car garage with additional space on the lower floor, an open concept living/dining room on the main floor and a three bedroom & flexroom on the upper floor.

At your choice, you could add a Green Roof, Renewable energy Sources such as Photovoltaic Panels or Solar Hot Water on the roof. For heating and cooling we primarily recommend a highly efficient heat recovery ventilation system and add additional components depending on your location and climate.
